It Chapter Two.

It was a bit boring. I think they should have used the adult scenes as a framing device and made it one movie. It would have been much less repetitive.

No idea what it is called in English, but it's a story by Astrid Lindgren. Good old childhood memories.

That translates to 'I Am Omlette and Egg Homework'.

Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, back-to-back.

Did that unlock the secret third route?

True. That is what the original deal encompassed.

Ah. It's kind of sad, but Disney were being pretty unfair in their demands from Sony -- it's their property, at the end of the day. Hopefully, they'll be able to strike up another deal at some point, but at least we got to see him in the MCU for the time he was in.

EDIT: But unfortunately, that means no Daredevil and Spider-Man content :(

We were so close to their team up as well. At least Daredevil has a shot at a revival on Hulu, which is where the Ghost Rider from Agents of SHIELD (which was also on another network) is getting his own show. They just have to wait for the two year moratorium on the rights to expire.

On the plus side, if Sony do continue with Tom Holland at least we'll get a Spider-Man movie that isn't stuffed with MCU references. Perhaps now we can see Uncle Ben's influence on Peter's life, Peter making his own suit and gadgets and real characters popping up rather than off-brand ones ('MJ' is called Michelle Jones and 'Ganke' is called Ned because if both Marvel and Sony used them, the rights to those characters would be frozen between the two studios and neither could use those versions again; which is why there's likely to be a completely new cast, save for Holland).

This is all assuming they don't continue negotiations in the meantime, which I think they will. Marvel has some announcements to make at D23 this week, and I think Spider-Man was being saved for that.

Spider-Man will no long appear in the MCU:

Quote
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige won’t produce any further Spider-Man films because of an inability by Disney and Sony Pictures to reach new terms that would have given the former a co-financing stake going forward. A dispute that has taken place over the past few months at the top of Disney and Sony has essentially nixed Feige, and the future involvement of Marvel from the Spider-Man universe, sources said.

Sources said there are two more Spider-Man films in the works and the studio hopes to have director Jon Watts and Tom Holland front and center, though Watts doesn’t have a deal for the next picture and isn’t a lock to return.

Sony Pictures is vowing to carry on the Spider-Man franchise without Marvel Studios’ involvement, placing the blame on Disney for cutting the successful inter-studio cooperation short.

This could be posturing on Disney's part, but Disney wasn't gaining much from Spider-Man anyway. They already take all profits from his merchandise and didn't see a penny from Homecoming and Far From Home.

Why would they be missing?

Once you accept its naturalistic approach, yeah. I really enjoyed the animation and the extra scenes in the movie which gave some more depth to the world. It almost felt like a documentary at some points.

The voice acting was awful though. Mufasa, Timon, Pumbaa and Zazu sounded good, but everyone else was really flat. When it came to dialogue from the original movie, it felt like they were just reading lines. I wish Hollywood would use real VOICE actors rather then attach A list stars who aren't qualified for the roles.

There's a new song when Simba returns to the Pride Lands which was horribly out of place. That was one of the best bits of the original score and they shoehorned Beyonce's song in there just because.

The Lion King.

Monster High: Freaky Fusion
Is actually a pretty good movie, even on its own. Also, pretty much the climax of the franchise.

The Monster High brand always reminds me of that newish episode of The Simpsons where they make a young adult fantasy book about trolls at a boarding school.

Yeah that is so overdesigned.

Disney+ is the new streaming service. It's not strictly a kid-focused service, but there won't be anything adult-rated on there.
