What was I thinking my last list?

1. Ungrateful - Escape the Fate
2. Congregation of the Damned - Atreyu
3. The Curse - Atreyu
4. The Poison - Bullet For My Valentine
5. Lead Sails and a Paper Anchor - Atreyu
6. We Do What We Want - Emery
7. End of Silence - Red
8. Out of Ashes - Dead By Sunrise
9. This War Is Ours - Escape the Fate
It doesn't matter where we go, there's always someone that doesn't agree with us.

These are some of my favourites, in no particular order.

  • You Could Have It So Much Better by Franz Ferdinand. It took me a while to even get over the existence of this album.
  • Ceremonials by Florence + the Machine. I'm pretty sure Florence Welch's voice is something from another world.
  • The Electric Lady by Janelle Monàe. This album gave me the confidence to come out of the closet, and for that I can never be thankful enough.
  • A Beginning, A Detour, An Open Ending by Tina Dico. As heavy as it sounds, this album is the reason I play music.
  • The Crane Wife by The Decemberists. I adored this band when I was maybe thirteen, and they hold a special place in my heart. This album rocks.
  • The Family Jewels by Marina and the Diamonds. I am a stan!
  • Illinois by Sufjan Stevens. I would hate to exist in a world where this album wasn't there.
  • Soviet Kitsch by Regina Spektor. Love, love, love her. So much!
  • Act I: The Lake South, The River North; Act II: The Meaning Of, And All Things Regarding Ms. Leading; and Act III: Life And Death by The Dear Hunter. They're a trilogy, and I couldn't possibly separate them. An unspeakably good collection of some of the most transcendant songs I've ever heard.
  • Brother, Sister by mewithoutYou. I adore mewithoutYou, and this is my favourite from them. I love every single song. Moving, emotional, and extremely raw.

Artemis, I frickin' love A Beginning, A Detour, An Open Ending.

Hmm, Lily Allen's Sheezus, Troye Sivan's TRXYE and Ed Sheeran's X take top three.

You a Tina Dico fan as well? As Danes, we're kind of obligated to, right? :) She is incredible. She was pretty much all I listened to when I started really listening to music.

I have most of her discography. I'm buying Whispers as soon as I remember to bring money when I go to town.

Whispers is fantastic, I think. Very beautiful. It's quite stripped down compared to her previous stuff, but for what it is it's worth the money.
