Anyone a fan of him? If you are, this is the place to talk about his books!

I cried so hard at Looking for Alaska. Have The Fault In Our Stars on my shelf, but haven't brought self to read it yet (can't read it in public as potential tears). Also have Will Grayson Will Grayson, which I started and then put down in favour of reading something else. Once I've stopped lurking in The Grim Dark Future, I might go read this YA romance coming of age teenage thing (and promptly wonder why nobody is being killed every few pages, and remember that, oh, yes, that's only in Warhammer.)

I really do like his novels, but the pretentiousness gets on my nerves, every once and a while. But TFIOS was one of my favorite books of 2012. He himself is a really nice dude.

Agreed. From the names, what sounds more interesting? The Abundance of Katherines, or Paper Town?

I adored Paper Towns on first read. Then I caught the tense changing - I thought it was an editing error, but John did it stylistically. Left a bad taste in my mouth. :/

I need to reread Katherines - I do like it a lot from memory simply for being fun and deep literary device free.

I have to find some John Green and read it soon. There was none in my school library when I went there.
