« on: May 29, 2019, 01:14:23 PM »
So Bedlam will be out tomorrow and some already have the book, so here it is a space where people can talk about it.

Im not crazy, my reality is just different than yours.

Moved this to the book section :)

Got the book today and devoured it in basically one sitting.

It's going to be interesting to see what Derek is going to do with the story after the Dusk's reveal. A bit dissappointed that he didn't kill off Flanery though.

Finished it today. I may or may not do a review and share my opinion at some point, but I didn't find it terrible. But I also have a great many problems with it and it may be my least favourite, at the moment. I may need time to think over what I think for a more detailed opinion though.

As Charlotte said it is BAD. Here it is:

According to the armsmen fighting alongside Sarge, his swears were so vitriolic that they actually turned into little insectoid creatures as they left his mouth, and had to be swatted out of the air as they tried to bite people. Given how warpy his section of the line had gotten by that point, none of us questioned this.

Remember when the topics for a book would go to at least 15 pages? How the mighty has fallen (both us and the books themselves).

Dan? Since when have you been back?

So I finally got to finish it. The book had been published here in November, but it was almost as tough a read as MC, what with all the short chapters and stuff. Felt like reading through a bunch of social media posts, not a book.
