The War of the Worlds.

I thought it was disappointing, especially as this was the period piece I was waiting for. The true horror of the story is the juxtaposition between late 19th century England and the Martian technology, which I think is always lost in translation with contemporary adaptions. Unfortunately they stuffed in too much melodrama with the Narrator, his brother and his girlfriend who weren't even in the book. Why can't they make one faithful adaption? It's only a 200 page book!

On my 3rd rewatch of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and living my best gelfling life. So happy to see the Dark Crystal fandom finally come to life after all these years.
I really want to see this, but unfortunately it’s unavailable on the free tv I have ;^^ the Dark Crystal is such a classic film, I hope the show does it justice.

I’ve been binging Prodigal Son, though tonight I last watched The 7 Ages of Elvis.
